Damaged or Corrupted Memory on Control Board: turn off the power to the dishwasher for 5 minutes. If the code is still shown when the power is back on, replace the control board.
Stuck Button on the User Interface Control
User Control Interface Not Communicating with Control Board: turn the power off on the dishwasher and check the wiring between the control interface and the control board. If the wiring is fine, either the control board or the user interface needs to be replaced.
Thermistor/OWI Sensor Failure: turn off the power and check the wiring between the control board and the OWI sensor/thermistor. Replace the wiring harness if needed or replace the OWI sensor/thermistor.
Error Between Electronic Control Board and Circulation Pump Motor: unplug dishwasher from power and check the circulation pump wire harness and reconnect/replace any faulty wiring. If the wiring is fine, replace the motor assembly and circulation pump.
Door Switch Failure: this code will appear if you do not close the door 4 seconds after pressing the start button. If the door is shut, there could be an issue with the door switch and must be replaced.
Door Not Opening Detected: the dishwasher expects the door to be opened before a new cycle is started. If you ran a cycle and have not opened the door before running another, this code will appear. If this is not the case, the door switch may need to be replaced.
Dishwasher Won't Fill: check to see if there is an item stuck under the overfill float and remove it if so. If the overfill float is stuck up, it will not fill.
Failure with Water Inlet Valve: disconnect dishwasher from power and remove the bottom front panel and toe panel. Check the wiring harness connections on the water inlet valve. Repair any loose or broken wires or replace the wiring harness.
Suds or Air Detected in Water Pump: if you use too much detergent, you will find that your dishwasher has too much suds. The drain pump will run automatically for 3 minutes, if this does not remove all the suds, you will have to remove them by hand.
Float Switch is Open: check the overflow switch and make sure it is not stuck or if an item is blocking it. Check to see if the water inlet valve is properly closing when the dishwasher is off.
Incoming Water is Too Cold: if the temperature is below 110 degrees F, this code will appear. If the water temperature is normal (110 to 120 degrees F) then you may need to replace the thermistor/OWI or control board.
Heating Element Not Working: turn the power off and inspect the heating element and replace if needed. If it is not damaged, check the wiring and replace the harness if necessary.
Heating Element Not Shutting Off: turn the power off for 5 minutes and see if the code reappears. If so, the control board must be replaced.
Draining Slow: turn the power off and shut off the water valve. Check the drain for blockages and remove. If the path is clean, check the drain pumps wiring and replace the drain pump if necessary.
Drain Pump Error: turn the power off and turn off the water. Check the wiring on the drain pump and replace the drain pump if no issues are found with the wiring.
Electronic Control Board Cannot Detect Diverter Disc Position: the diverter disc is what directs the water through the spray arms. The diverter motor also monitors the diverter disc position and sends the position to the control board. Disconnect from power and check the wiring going to the diverter disc and reconnect any loose wires or replace the wiring harness. If this is not the issue, you may need to replace the electronic board or diverter disc.
Diverter Motor Stuck On: this error means that the diverter relay is defective and must be replaced on the control board.
Diverter Disc Missing: check the diverter disc and replace if broken.
Lower Spray Arm Error: check for any obstructions that may not allow the spray arm to move. If nothing is blocking it, check all wiring, and replace the spray arm if necessary.
Detergent Dispenser Error: disconnect from power and check wiring from control board to detergent dispenser. Replace the detergent dispenser if no issues are found with the wiring.
Vent Wax Moto Electrical Error: turn the power off and check the wiring in the vent wax motor circuit. If no issues are found, replace the vent wax motor.
Drying Fan Error: unplug the dishwasher from power and check the wiring between the control panel and the drying fan. Fix any issues and if there were not problems found, replace the drying fan.
